About Viral Fest Asia 2017
Viral Fest Asia is brought to you by KL-based media company WebTVAsia. A 2-day festival celebrating the very best in music and video content coming from Asia for the digital space. The star-studded event took over Show DC Oasis Outdoor Arena with plenty of great tunes, entertaining performances and special collaborations seen and heard for the first time.
The lineup was led by the king of KPOP, Rain, who brought a piece of his Squall World Tour for his Thai fans. Followed by JPOP idol girl groups AKB48, Vietnamese pop star Son Tung M-TP, Exile offshoot Exile The Second, Korean synth-pop songstress Suran, Indian rapper Badsha, suave Thai rockers Slot Machine, Hugo and Burin Boonvisut, and Japanese dance group Flower. The event wouldn’t be complete without fans’ favorite viral stars, including Viral Fest alum Malaysia rapper Namewee, Thai comedian Bie Tha Ska, and hip-hop collective Rap Is Now.
